A cloud contact center announced from Pennsylvania in 2014 that was the mid-market SaaS offering of Drishti-Soft, maker of Ameyo, which merged with Exotel in 2021; the Texo product's own fate is unrecorded.
Texo.cc joined Stompstart in December 2014 as an "Agile Customer Interaction hub on cloud." Its page, saved in March 2015 and placed in Pennsylvania, promised "Personalized engagements across the customer journey." Users could "quickly innovate with minimal technical Intervention," the listing said, challenging "traditional inbound, outbound, or blended contact centers." Its tags included predictive dialer and helpdesk.
A PRWeb release of 27 November 2014, datelined Pennsylvania, had announced Texo.cc's entry to the cloud contact center market. It combined voice, social media, email, web, chat and mobile, the release said, and was "powered by Ameyo," contact center software it credited with more than 1,500 clients. It quoted Sachin Bhatia as vice president and co-founder.
Ameyo's maker, Drishti-Soft, announced a $5 million Series A, all from Forum Synergies, in a July 2015 release datelined Gurgaon, India. It said: "TexoCC, Drishti's SAAS offering, was launched in Sep 2014 targeting midsized Contact Centers and Inside Sales Teams." TechCrunch reported that Drishti, founded in 2003 with Bhatia among its founders, ran TexoCC for mid-sized sales and support centers, with clients including Subway, UrbanClap, Grofers and PepperTap, and that Ameyo planned to use the round to expand into the United States.
On 29 June 2021, Exotel and Ameyo announced a merger, claiming a combined presence in 60 countries and $45 million in annual recurring revenue. The release said Bhatia would become chief executive of Ameyo and join Exotel's board, while co-founders Bishal Lachhiramka and Nayan Jain and the investor Forum Synergies would exit.
The merger release does not mention Texo, and no record of what became of the Texo product was found. When checked in September 2026, texocc.com did not resolve and texo.cc returned an access-denied error.
