The Ottawa workspace tool that gave its maker a new name.
An Ottawa project and team workspace launched in 2014 by Boast Technologies, which renamed itself Slenke Inc. in 2016 and was dissolved by Corporations Canada for missed annual filings in May 2026.
Slenke's card on Stompstart's Ottawa page, saved in July 2019, promised "workplace communication and management on one platform." It called Slenke "a virtual workspace to manage your company from anywhere," covering project portfolios, individual projects, tasks, internal communication, time tracking, invoicing and file sharing.
The product was older than the card. On 17 December 2014, Boast Technologies of Ottawa announced Slenke as its first product, with a 30-day free trial. The release said it grew from an internal project to put all of Boast's own software on one platform.
The federal corporate record shows Boast Technologies Corp. incorporated on 3 October 2013 and renamed Slenke Inc. on 4 February 2016. The Ottawa Business Journal gave a slightly different history in February 2018: Hamza Warraich started Boast in 2012, at 18, and the company took its product's name in 2016. The paper described Slenke as bootstrapped, with three employees, more than 100 users onboarded since the previous September and customers on nearly every continent.
Slenke was still on offer years later. CloudBlue's software catalog added Slenke in March 2021, listing encrypted messaging, project boards, workload calendars and Kanban boards. In January 2022 Slenke Inc. started a podcast, Inside Work, hosted by Warraich as founder and CEO; the last episode listed is dated 7 February 2022.

The official record marks 2023, 2024 and 2025 overdue, and on 3 May 2026 Corporations Canada dissolved Slenke Inc. for non-compliance under section 212 of the Canada Business Corporations Act. That is an administrative dissolution for missed filings, not a closure announced by the company, and no statement from Slenke about the product was found. slenke.com refused connections on 28 and 29 September 2026.
