Seven startups whose endings are recorded in company registers.

Seven startups listed in the directory between 2014 and 2019 whose companies were liquidated, ceased, struck off or dissolved in records kept by Companies House, the Munich commercial register, Finland's trade register and India's insolvency regulator, from 2017 to a liquidation begun in 2026.

Each startup below had a listing in the old Stompstart directory, and the end of the company behind it is written down in an official record: Companies House in Britain, the Munich commercial register, Finland's trade register or India's insolvency regulator. For one of them, Zoetrope, the founder has also written his own account. Each entry says when a record comes through a third-party summary, or when its tie to the listing rests on a name and dates. A company closing is a fact about the company, not a verdict on the people who ran it.

Wegilant was listed from Mumbai in a capture of 17 March 2015. Its product, Appvigil, was "an automated Android App security scanner on cloud" that checked apps for security and privacy loopholes. Franchise India reported on 8 December 2014 that Wegilant Net Solutions, founded in November 2011 and led by Toshendra Sharma, had raised Rs 1 crore. India's insolvency regulator, the IBBI, records the National Company Law Tribunal admitting an insolvency petition in the matter of Wegilant Net Solutions Private Limited (CP (IB) 60-ALD-2017) on 28 July 2017 and its Allahabad bench ordering its liquidation on 21 December 2017. Tofler, a third-party summary of the company register, gives an incorporation date of 21 November 2011 and the status "Strike Off". The match rests on the company name and founding date.

Oppex offered a "Search engine for public sector bidding contests" in a listing created on 30 October 2014 from Helsinki and captured on 6 April 2015. It claimed millions of bidding contests from over 100 countries and thousands of users in more than 70 countries, "including users from Fortune Global 500 companies." ArcticStartup reported on 10 November 2015 that Oppex had raised $2.3 million from Open Ocean Capital and Initial Capital, with nearly five million tenders indexed. Finland's trade register, published as open data by the Finnish Patent and Registration Office, records Oppex Oy, called Locatia Oy until October 2013, as ceased on 7 June 2018. It records no bankruptcy or liquidation and gives no reason. The match rests on the name and an auxiliary trading name, Hankintahaku IM; hankintahaku is Finnish for procurement search.

Slideflight promised to "Share presentations live anywhere" in a listing filed under Munich and captured on 20 August 2019. Its PowerPoint add-in let a speaker share chosen slides, which the audience followed on a phone, tablet or computer by entering a six-digit ID, keeping notes and a PDF copy. It aimed at conferences, university lectures and smaller meetings. On 28 January 2016 Munich Startup reported a seven-figure investment in Slideflight from Senovo. North Data's summary of the Munich commercial register shows Slideflight GmbH, HRB 221029, registered on 29 September 2015 as Blitz 15-214 GmbH and renamed on 3 December 2015. It entered liquidation on 20 September 2017 and was recorded as terminated on 20 August 2019. Slideflight's own legal notice, archived in April 2016, names Slideflight GmbH, Munich, HRB 221 029, which ties the register entry to the product.

Zoetrope offered "3D Product Photography as a Service" in a listing created on 28 April 2014 from Bristol and captured on 17 March 2015. For shops with "5 or 50,000 items to photograph", it promised images and "interactive experiences" of each product. Companies House shows Zoetrope Limited incorporated on 22 October 2013, with a Bristol registered office and Benjamin Howes as a director. In a retrospective dated 8 February 2026, Howes wrote that the photography business he began after graduating in summer 2013 never reached product/market fit, and that "In 2015 we successfully pivoted to IoT consulting." In June 2018 he and Richard, his first employee and co-founder, saw no path from consulting to products; Howes decided "the best long term decision was to close the company down." Companies House records its dissolution on 10 March 2020.

draglet GmbH said "We Develop Customized Blockchain Software Solutions" in a Munich listing captured on 16 July 2019. Founded in 2013, it said, it offered smart contracts, digital tokens, private blockchains and white-label cryptocurrency exchange software. North Data's summary of the Munich commercial register shows draglet GmbH, HRB 208512, registered on 27 November 2013 to build and sell software for trading cryptocurrencies. A fintech profile says draglet completed a "transition to a new entity", skalex, as of 1 April 2019. On 6 April 2019 the register recorded draglet GmbH's liquidation. Its insolvency proceedings, file 1513 IN 294/19, were concluded by court order on 24 November 2021, and the company was recorded as terminated on 28 March 2022. North Data's summary shows skalex GmbH, registered in Munich in April 2019 for the same business as draglet, in liquidation since 12 April 2021, the date the fintech profile gives. The draglet match rests on name, city, founding year and business; the skalex match rests on name, city, business and that liquidation date.

IncuBus London helped early startups "get ready for the world's best accelerators", according to a listing filed under London and captured on 23 August 2019. Its 12-week programme of mentor sessions, skills workshops, office hours and KPI catch-ups ended with a demo week of pitches to accelerators, investors and partners. It had "originally started on a renovated London bus" and named programmes with PwC at London Bridge and with Camden Market. FashionUnited reported in August 2015 that the Camden Market programme would start on 21 September, naming founders Rishi Chowdhury and George Johnston. Companies House lists both as the directors of IncuBus Ventures Ltd, incorporated on 8 July 2013. Its filings show a resolution to wind up on 30 August 2023, a creditors' voluntary liquidation and dissolution on 14 January 2026. The match rests on the founders' names.

Vibe Tickets gave fans "the opportunity to exchange tickets at face value and make new friends!", according to directory cards from February and March 2016 and a London listing captured on 20 July 2019. A speaker profile says Luke Massie founded Vibe Tickets in 2013 and raised £400,000 in seed rounds and a further £612,000. TheVibe Limited, incorporated on 28 March 2013 with Massie as a director, had an administrator appointed in May 2018, moved into a creditors' voluntary liquidation in November 2018 and was dissolved on 12 July 2021; its tie to the app rests on Massie's directorship and the profile naming him as the app's founder in 2013. Vibe Tickets Limited, incorporated on 20 December 2017 with Massie as a director until 9 December 2025, is in liquidation, not dissolved; its tie to the app rests on the name and Massie's directorship. Its members resolved to wind it up on 24 February 2026, and a liquidator's appointment was filed on 4 March 2026.
