The Geneva gift-voucher site that became a shopping chatbot.

Gift Voucher Kiosk promised you would "always have a gift in your pocket." Its Stompstart listing, added in December 2014 and placed in London and Geneva, offered an "easy way to offer a gift card or product from your local cool business" in "a few clicks," for anyone held up by a late meeting or bad traffic.

Founder Frederik Van Lierde wrote in May 2015 that the idea came after he bought his local spa in Geneva. He called it "a London born start-up" and said the Geneva launch had sold more than 2,000 vouchers, averaging CHF 149. In June 2016 the site sold branded vouchers for restaurants, spas and shops, with a Facebook wish-list app and a "100% Cash Back Guarantee."

The UK company came later and ended sooner. Companies House shows GIFT VOUCHER KIOSK LTD incorporated in London on 10 November 2016, with Van Lierde as sole director. Its filing history lists nothing between incorporation and a notice of compulsory strike-off on 30 October 2018; it was dissolved on 15 January 2019.

The product had already changed. Product Hunt lists a "Chat Bot + App" launch on 30 June 2018, and by December 2018 the domain served Masha.ai, "the #1 Shopping & Gift Chatbot."

On 5 November 2019, Startupticker reported that Masha.ai, "a product of Push.ai LLC, based in Zug," had closed a 500,000 euro seed round backed by Niyama Holdings, with Van Lierde as founder and chief executive. In March 2021 the old domain still showed Masha.ai under a "2021 - Push.ai LLC" footer.

Swiss register data on Moneyhouse lists a push.ai gmbh in Zug, entered in January 2019, with no officers named. A court opened bankruptcy proceedings against it in February 2023. The last archived copy of masha.ai, from January 2025, showed brand collections, the newest dated 2022, above the footer "© 2025 Push.ai gmbh." That push.ai gmbh was deleted from the register on 5 May 2026. Both masha.ai and giftvoucherkiosk.com now fail on expired security certificates.
