The Brisbane budgeting app that set 11 March 2022 as its last day.
A Brisbane budgeting service listed in January 2015 moved from everwealth.io to everwealth.com.au and, by its own notice, closed on 11 March 2022 under the company name its 2016 site carried.
Everwealth joined the directory from Brisbane in January 2015 with a plain pitch: "The smarter way to control your finances." It would let people "create simple budgets, plan for future expenses, reach savings goals and generate a clear picture of their overall net wealth."
Its own site, everwealth.io, used the same words that March and was still taking requests for early access. It promised budgets by category, savings goals, bill reminders, low-balance alerts and forecasts, and said it connected to more than 12,500 financial institutions to import transactions. Beneath the features sat a line from Benjamin Franklin: "Beware of little expenses. A small leak will sink a great ship."
By September 2016 the site offered a 30-day free trial, automatic feeds from what it said were over 7,500 banks, and free access for a partner or accountant. Its footer read "© 2016 Everwealth International Pty Ltd".
In March 2019 Everwealth was at a new address, everwealth.com.au, "Currently in beta" and taking early-access requests again, with the same Franklin quote and a 2019 footer naming the same company. It now claimed bank feeds from over 18,000 institutions.
In early March 2022 the site carried a notice: "Sadly, after 4 years of operation Everwealth Personal Financial Management service is shutting down on the 11 March 2022." Accounts would close that day and "all your data will be deleted permanently." It was signed "The Everwealth team". A help article explained how to export transactions as CSV files from the web, iOS and Android apps before then. The notice does not say when its four years began.
The old everwealth.io address now redirects to an unrelated betting site, and everwealth.com.au no longer resolves. The Australian Business Register lists one company of the footer's name, Everwealth International Pty Ltd, in Queensland. Its ABN has been active since 9 October 2014, and the record, last updated in September 2024, still shows it active.
