A list app from New York that became an emergency-response tool.
A 2014 consumer organisation app whose company built Groupdolists, a crisis response platform, on top of it, then sold its assets to Infinite Blue in 2022, which Everbridge bought in 2024.
"Your life, centralized!" Centrallo's November 2014 listing described a productivity app, its name short for "Central Location," for organising, prioritising and sharing everything from personal notes to work plans in one place. It was tagged "Evernote." The image uploaded with it shows the app on a laptop, a tablet and two phones.
The consumer app kept going for a while. In February 2016 the company released Centrallo 2.0 with a wizard for importing notes from Evernote, and named a former Evernote executive, Heather Wilde, as an adviser.
Then the same engine found a very different job. In September 2017, Groupdolists launched as a crisis management and response-team coordination platform "powered by Centrallo." In January 2018, Centrallo Corporation raised $1.5 million in seed funding to develop it for teams handling incidents and emergencies. Chief executive Michael J. Sher is named in both the 2016 and 2018 announcements.
In January 2022, Infinite Blue acquired substantially all of Centrallo Corporation's assets, including Groupdolists, and Sher joined Infinite Blue with the team. In July 2024, Everbridge acquired Infinite Blue. Infinite Blue's old Groupdolists page now redirects to Everbridge's business continuity software page, which does not mention Groupdolists by name.
