Entrevestor reported in January 2015 that Swapskis had renamed itself Vendeve and shifted to a cash-based marketplace for women's services, with about 1,250 users in Halifax and plans to expand. In 2018 the same outlet reported that founder Katelyn Bourgoin had pulled the plug on Vendeve in early 2017.
