“Schedule an Uber ride”
Kommen is an alternative app for busy people who want to schedule their Uber rides ahead of time. Before now, people had to wait until when they need a ride to get it. This has made it difficult in times when you have a flat battery, poor network, or any temporary problem that blocks your access to your phone. Now with the advent of Kommen, users of Uber would be able to draft a schedule of their rides and be sure that come what may, their ride would be called right when they need it.

In our words: The 2016 listing, at alpha stage, described Kommen as an app for busy people who wanted to schedule Uber rides ahead of time, so a ride would still be called when needed even if a flat battery or poor network kept them off their phone.
