“Protect and share your Excel models”
HiveLink allows you to share your Excel models while securing your formulas and protecting your Intellectual Property macros and data models ("IP"). Your IP stays with you, while HiveLink sends you the users' input and automatically sends the model results back to their spreadsheet. Thanks to Hivelink's user manager, you control exactly who can use your spreadsheet, so if it gets copied around to other people without your permission then it is useless to them.

In our words: The listing described HiveLink as a way to share Excel models without handing over the formulas, macros and data behind them: users' inputs were sent to the owner's model and the results returned to their spreadsheet. A user manager controlled who could run a model, so copies passed on without permission would not work. It was in public beta and listed from Auckland, New Zealand.
