“Find and organize local sports”
Altis helps you find local sports games and communities (group) from your nearby areas. There are so many people around you who are looking for other players to play with. In fact, its even difficult to figure out how many players are there in your very own society. The goal is to help these people show all available options to play more. Currently players use whatsapp, facebook, meetup or sms to organize games. All these are generic solutions and as more and more people get connected, you start losing relevant sports updates. Ultimately it gets trickier to manage even basic tasks. Altis has a single agenda – just focus on players and games. In its current avatar, one can say that Altis looks similar to meetup. Trust us, we are much more than a sports meetup

In our words: The listing described Altis as a public-beta Android app for finding nearby sports games and communities, pitched as a sports-only alternative to organising matches over WhatsApp, Facebook, Meetup or SMS. It admitted the app looked similar to Meetup but said it aimed to be more.
